Nunua is the Bleu Allusion marketplace — and we're building a network of East Africa's finest handmade artisans. If you make genuinely extraordinary things by hand, we want to give your work a US market audience.
We verify. Every vendor undergoes a craft verification process — we ask for in-progress photos, workshop photos, and a brief description of your production process. Machine-assisted finishing is acceptable; machine manufacturing is not.
If you work with other artisans or employees, we require documentation of fair wage practices. We will ask about your team, their compensation, and their working conditions. This is non-negotiable.
We prioritize natural materials: cotton, linen, leather, silver, brass, glass. We will ask about material sourcing — where your materials come from and how they're obtained. Sustainable sourcing is a strong positive signal.
US customers make buying decisions on photography. We require clean, well-lit product images on neutral backgrounds. We provide a photography guide and can connect you with local photography resources if needed.
You must be able to fulfill US orders with consistent shipping times. Maximum 4-week lead time for made-to-order items. We conduct a test order as part of onboarding for all accepted vendors.
Our customers want to know who made what they're wearing. Your artisan story — how you learned your craft, where you work, what inspires you — will be featured on your product pages. Authenticity matters more than polish.
Fill in the form below. Takes about 15 minutes. Tell us about your craft, your products, your team, and your story.
